L'EQUITHERAPIE

Equithérapie

Since 2018, the TOURING equestrian center has been developing adapted riding and horse therapy, in partnership with Le Cheval Pour Sourire, a team of three qualified and specialized riding instructors, led by Virginie.
Individual or group sessions are organized on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, for children, teenagers and adults in difficulty, suffering or with disabilities.

The horse is a non-intrusive living being, with a gentle, reassuring body, slow, calming breathing and non-judgmental eyes. Above all, it acts and reacts according to what it perceives of the rider's muscular or emotional tensions.

For thousands of years, the horse has been a formidable "partner" for mankind, enabling us to work with both sensory stimuli (restoring movement, balance and motor coordination, seeing, listening, touching, smelling and feeling) and emotional stimuli (establishing contact, revealing emotions, social enhancement).
The indications are many and varied: stress, anxiety, malaise, behavioral or cognitive disorders, dyspraxia, dyslexia, dysphasia, trauma, mental and/or physical disabilities...

By choosing calm-tempered horses or ponies among the cavalry, and by adapting the organization of the lessons, it is possible to open up the Touring's infrastructures, in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne, to everyone, so that they can progress together, in their riding and in their relationship with the body and the world.
